My fantastic, amazing, thoughtful, sexy husband booked a just-what-we-needed “babymoon” to Hilton Head for a long weekend. Clint does not quickly settle on a vacation venue (read: we have been talking about planning this for 3 months) so I knew when he picked a place that it would be great. We stayed at the Sonesta Hilton Head Resort and did lots of relaxing, eating, and more relaxing. What more could an expecting mother want than that?! We did get in a couple walks on the beach and even a competitive game of putt-putt to round out the trip.
As I enter the 3rd trimester next week, we will busily be diving into painting and preparing the nursery, enjoying baby showers with friends and family, and getting ready to bring home our baby girl. This time will go by fast, but we are trying our best to savor every moment.
